Review of The Juliet Club by Suzanne Harper
The Juliet Club follows 6 teens, 3 Americans and 3 Italians, as they spend part of their summer in Verona, Italy taking a Shakespearian Class and volunteering at the Juliet Club. The Juliet Club is a place where people write from all over the world to "Juliet" and the teens have to answer for them. Along the way, they find love, heartbreak and friendship.
I'll do pro-and con on this book, because it had both. I'll do Con 1st because I like ending on a happy note
There where a lot of character and at times it was hard to follow them all.
I'm a big fan of complete endings, with all loose ends tied up. You don't get that out of this ending-but it is still a nice ending
Great characters, they all have their own stories w/ their own problems.
Great Plot-cool things happen to them-well duh
Well written-Ms. Harper is a wonderful writer
and of course, A awesome concept
To sum the Juliet Club up, it's an easy read. It takes you on a modern day Shakespeare Adventure. In typical Shakespeare fashion, you meet wonderful in dept characters who carry the plot. These characters own problems will relate to your own-making The Juliet Club- a fantastic read.
The Juliet Club by Suzanne Harper will be released June 2008
